If Bosnian and Herzegovinian citizens want to enter India, they need to have a visa. But with an Indian eVisa in the picture, there are some specific purposes for which you can simply apply for the eVisa and save yourself from too much hassle.
If you want to visit India for tourism and travel purposes, to do business, or maybe to get an urgent medical treatment, you can apply for an Indian eVisa. If you have some other purpose or you need to be in India for a longer time, you will need to apply for a standard visa through an Indian Embassy.

Categories of Indian eVisa Available to Bosnian and Herzegovinian Citizens
According to the purposes mentioned above, the Indian government has divided eVisa into five different categories:
Tourist eVisa
Tourist eVisa is for people who want to explore India as tourists. This visa is perfect for you if you want to explore the country, visit your friends or family members, do some short-term courses, or even do some short-term volunteer work (for a month).
Since there are a variety of experiences that fall into this specific category, there are three types of Indian tourist eVisa validity available: 30-day validity, 1-year validity, and 5-year validity. You can choose any of these validity and you’ll accordingly have a specific number of days you can stay in the country.
Business eVisa
If you want to do business in India, you need to apply for a business eVisa. You can attend meetings, conferences, events, lectures of seminars, and similar types of activities with this eVisa. This visa is valid for 1 year and you can remain in India for 180 days in all.
Medical eVisa
If you’re in need of urgent medical treatment in India, then you apply for a medical visa. This visa is applicable for only 60 days and you can enter India three times during these 60 days.
Medical Attendant eVisa
Each person with an Indian medical E visa is allowed to have two medical attendants with them. If you’re an attendant for a patient coming to India, this is the visa for you. Just like the medical eVisa, this visa is also valid for 60 days and you can enter the country three times during this period.
Transit eVisa
If you’re just transiting India to go to another destination, then you can apply for a transit visa. However, you only need to apply for this visa if you’re going to leave the airport or seaport. If you don’t plan to leave the airport or the ship, then there is no need for you to apply for this visa.
Make sure you understand these categories and apply accordingly for your eVisa. If your purpose does not match the category you have chosen, your application will be rejected.
