Passport

Debit/credit card

Types of Indian eVisa and Their Validity

The different categories of Indian eVisas available to the Angolan citizens are mentioned below:

Tourist eVisa

If you are traveling to India for tourism reasons, you can apply for a tourist eVisa. This visa is valid for a year. Although you can enter India more than once, your stay is limited to 90 days at a time. 

Business eVisa

If you want to enter India for a business meeting, conference, and the like, you need to apply for a business eVisa. This visa is also valid for 1 year and you can enter multiple times. For business, you can stay in India for 180 days

Medical eVisa

If you require medical care in India, apply for a medical eVisa. This is only valid for 120 days and you can only enter the country 3 times within 60 days.

Medical Attendant eVisa

Two Angolan family members are allowed to enter India with a relative who needs medical attention. These attendants need to apply for a medical attendant eVisa. This visa is also valid for 120 days and permits the same number of entries within 60 days as the medical eVisa.

Remember that the Indian eVisa is not extendable and you cannot convert it to another visa type.

In Case of Specific eVisa, Angolans Will Also Need the Following According to Their Specific Situation

  • If you have to attend a short course or have voluntary work, you need to have a copy of the invitation from the organization, and the letterhead must be clearly visible.
  • If you’re applying for an Indian medical eVisa, you need a copy of the letter from the Indian hospital where you’re getting admitted, and its letterhead and date of admission should be clearly visible.
  • For an Indian business eVisa, you will need an invitation letter from the company with which you are conducting business. You will also need a business card from the company.
  • You will need a return ticket to Angola or to another country. 
  • Be careful to verify all the files and details you fill in the form. Any mistakes may cause the application to be delayed or rejected.
  • Make sure that you apply for the right eVisa that aligns with your purpose of travel. Your application will be rejected if you apply for the wrong visa type.
