Kenya eTA services are available to certain eligible nations. Fortunately, Argentina is on the list of eligible nations for Kenya eTA. Argentinian citizens are no longer required to go through the offline hassles of obtaining a visa for Kenya.

In January 2024, Kenya made acquiring a visa an easier task for certain nations by introducing the Kenya eTA. Argentinian citizens who wish to travel to Kenya for a short-term trip can obtain a Kenya eTA and make the process of getting a Kenya visa easier for them.

There are three reasons to apply for an eTA for Kenya: tourism, business, and transit. This is in addition to Kenya’s One-Year Multiple Entry Visa and East Africa Tourist eTA, which allow Argentinian travelers to travel to Rwanda and Uganda. Applying for any type of Kenya eTA requires that Argentinians always be aware of the Kenya eTA requirements.

Three Types of Single Entry Kenya eTA

There are three major single-entry visas that are available to Argentine citizens; we advise that travelers from Argentina know all their Kenya eTA options and opt for the right Kenya eTA.

Kenya Tourist eTA: Kenya Tourist eTA should be applied by Argentinian citizens who have planned a short-term trip to Kenya. The short trip should not include engaging in any paid or unpaid work in Kenya and should be for tourism purposes.

Kenya Business eTA: Argentinian citizens who are invited by a registered business in Kenya and have to travel to Kenya to attend a conference or a meeting should obtain a Kenya business eTA.

Kenya Transit eTA: Citizens of Argentina who are traveling to another country but have Kenya on their stopover and wish to exit the airport must have a Kenya transit eTA. This visa allows them to travel around Kenya for 72 hours.

What Is the Stay Duration and Validity of Kenya eTA?

The time for which a Kenya eTA stays valid is 90 days. As soon as your Kenya eTA is issued, the validity count starts. We advise Argentinian travelers to travel to Kenya as soon as their eTA is approved to fully utilize its validity.

An Argentinian citizen can stay in Kenya for 90 days on their Kenya eTA. During this period, an Argentinian citizen should not seek any paid or unpaid employment and cannot use this visa for education.

We advise visitors from Argentina to plan their trips so that they are completed within the days of validity in order to avoid any immigration issues in Kenya.

Can a Kenya eTA be Extended?

To request an extension of their Kenya eTA, citizens of Argentina can visit the closest Kenyan immigration office. For the first time, Argentinian citizens can extend their eTA for 90 days and then again for another 90 days. The maximum extension period for Kenyan eTAs is 180 days.

Requirements to Obtain Kenya eTA

A Valid Passport: Citizens of Argentina should have a valid Argentinian passport. The passport will be considered valid if it has a six-month validity.

Passport-Sized Image: A passport-sized digital photo of the Argentinian applicant that is not older than 180 days for Kenya eTA is required.

How to Comply with Kenya eTA Application Guidelines

Do Not Upload Selfies: Kenya eTA does not allow the uploading of selfies or filtered photos. For the Kenya eTA, make sure the photo on your passport is clear and shows your current look.

Use a Clear and Colorful Picture: Your picture needs to be clear, in full color, and devoid of any digital edits or filters. The image must also be free of flaws and damage.

Keep a Plain Background for Photo: If you are getting your passport-sized photo clicked at a studio, ask the editor to use a solid plain white background for better highlighting

Wear Everyday Clothes: Use regular clothes when you get your passport picture clicked. You can wear a suit, shirt or t-shirt simply.

Multiple Entry Kenya Visas

East Africa Tourist Visa

The citizens of Argentina can now travel to the other two countries, Uganda and Rwanda, in addition to Kenya. This can only be possible if Argentinian citizens apply for the East Africa Tourist Visa.

Unlike the short-term regular Kenya eTA, the East Africa Tourist visa is a multiple entry visa. This means travelers can enter Keya multiple times. Know that this visa is only valid for three months starting from the date it is issued.

The only criteria to use this visa to travel to Uganda and Rwanda is that the traveler must first visit Kenya and then they can travel to the other two countries.

Kenya One-Year Multiple Entry eTA

One-Year Multiple Entry Visas are offered by the Kenyan government to tourists who have a lengthy itinerary and want to visit Kenya more than once.

This Kenya eTA with multiple entries is an option for tourists who wish to experience Kenya in greater detail and, in the event that they are on business trips and must visit Kenya more than once due to business requirements.

The Kenya One-Year Multiple Entry eTA has 1-year validity. Travelers are not permitted to remain in Kenya for longer than ninety days in a row, though. They must first leave Kenya within ninety days, and they can use this Kenya One-Year Multiple Entries eTA to return if they want to.

For a hassle-free Kenya eTA application process, Argentinian nationals can choose Kenya eTA online. There are many Kenya eTA options available to travelers, and they can select Kenya eTA based on their needs.

However, we request that applicants for Kenya eTA fill out all the necessary information on each Kenya eTA application form in order for their application to be accepted.
