Kenya Visa for Andorran Citizens: Process and requirements
A trip to Kenya for Andorran citizens in 2025 is easier than ever. Kenya started online travel authorization or eTA (electronic travel authorization). But this eTA is only available to certain eligible countries. Luckily, Andorra is among those eligible nations that can get Kenya eTA online.
In January 2024, Kenya announced that it will allow certain nations to obtain Kenya eTA online. This move aimed to increase Kenya tourism. Tourism, business-related work and transit are three reasons for which an online Kenya eTA can be obtained.
We advised Andorran citizens who wish to explore Kenya hassle-free to correctly understand Kenya eTA requirements and fill out the Kenya eTA application to enjoy a stress-free trip to Kenya.
How Andorrans Can Obtain Their Kenya eTA
The eTA application process for Andorran citizens is simple and efficient. Before the introduction of the online visa system, Andorrans had to visit Kenyan embassies and wait for an appointment to apply for a visa.
The process involved long wait times and considerable paperwork. However, with the new system in place, you can easily apply for your visa online by following a few simple steps:
Complete the Kenya eTA Application: Andorran citizens must fill out their Kenya eTA application, where they need to fill in their true details that match with their Andorran passport.
Upload Documents for eTA: Andorran citizens should prepare their documents required for Kenya eTA to upload on the Kenya eTA portal. These documents typically include your passport, a recent passport-sized photograph, proof of accommodation, and evidence of your return or onward ticket.
Review Your Application: Once Andorran applicants filled out the form and uploaded their documents, it is essential to double-check all the details. Any mistakes or discrepancies can delay your approval.
Make the Payment: After reviewing your application, proceed with the payment of the Kenya eTA fees. Payment is made online via credit or debit card, as Kenya does not accept payments in cash or cheque for visa applications.
Kenya eTA Duration, Validity and Extension
Kenya eTA stays valid only for 90 days and this starts from the day your Kenya eTA is issued. Kenya eTA is a single-entry travel authorization and it has a stay duration of 90 days.
This means an Andorran traveler gets a total of 90 days to explore Kenya or complete their business work if they are coming on a business trip to Kenya.
In case an Andorran traveler wants to increase their stay days in Kenya, they will have to visit the Kenya immigration office and meet the Kenya eTA extension criteria to get their eTA for Kenya extended.
Andorran citizens should know that they cannot extend their Kenya eTA for more than 180 days.
