As mentioned, the processing time of the UK ETA application will be around 72 hours (3 business days). The time might vary according to the situation and application process. The common reasons that delay the UK ETA application process are incorrect information, additional security checks, tourist peak season, etc. Submitting the application form at least six to eight days before the travel date helps to plan ahead and gives ample time to manage the rejection and delay. Group travellers must note that the processing time for each application might differ. Applying in advance will make sure that all the travellers in the group receive their UK ETA application approved before the travel date.

Travellers must be sure of the activities they are restricted from when travelling to the United Kingdom using the UK ETA. Take note of the below listed restricted activities.
