Citizens of Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Nigeria, North Korea, Taiwan and Syria need prior approval before applying for Sri Lanka eTA. Apply for an eTA at Sri Lanka Overseas Missions or at the Head office of the Department of Immigration & Emigration, Colombo through Sri Lankan Sponsors. Failing to do so may cause for rejection of your ETA/Visa appeals.

Passport Requirements

- Passport/scan must be clear and of good quality and high resolution.
- You can upload your Passport scan in the following file formats: PDF, PNG, and JPG.
- The Passport scan shouldn’t be blurred.
- The MRZ (the two strips at the bottom of the Passport) should be clearly visible.
