Jordan Pass Information

The Jordan Pass is a travel package that gives visitors access to the nation and some of its most significant and well-known destinations.

As long as the visitor stays for at least 4 days and 3 nights, it serves as an all-access pass to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for tourism and covers the cost of a Jordan tourist visa.

The Pass also provides pre-paid entrance to over 40 locations, including Petra, Jerash, and Wadi Rum, in addition to covering the Jordan visa charge.

By doing this, you can avoid the hassle of waiting in line and purchasing tickets for access to each location separately. A variety of complimentary pamphlets about the various tourist attractions in the nation are also included with the Jordan Pass and can be downloaded.

After being acquired, that pass is only valid for 1 year:

The pass remains valid for another two weeks after being used to visit a tourist attraction for the first time.

A single entry is allowed into the nation with the visa included with the Jordanian travel pass. With this visa, the traveller may stay in Jordan for a maximum of 30 days.

The traveler’s nationality will determine whether they can get a visa at the Jordanian embassy or on arrival.

Passholders incur no additional costs for a Jordan visa in either scenario.

Jordan Pass Requirements

To receive a Jordan sightseeing permit, visitors must fulfill the conditions for the country’s tourist pass.

This includes completing the necessary steps to apply for and receive the tourist visa, which is included in the Jordan Pass’s fee.

The following things are required of applicants in order to receive a permit and visa for Jordan:

  • A passport with a minimum validity of six months is issued by a qualified nation.
  • Contact email for the Jordan Pass.
  • Payment method credit/debit card.

The Jordan Pass application is given via PDF email attachment once it has been completed.

The traveler is then recommended to print a copy so they can use it to scan the QR code to get their visa and access the many tourist attractions in Jordan.

There are two ways to finish a free application for a Jordan visa after receiving a pass:

  • Request a Jordanian visa upon arrival

Yes, the list of more than 40 destinations wherein the Jordan Pass grants free entrance includes a number of Jordan’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Most tourists from all around the world are eligible to apply for a Jordan Pass.

Even those who are visiting Jordan solely for business or other purposes might want to get a permit so they can visit tourist attractions in addition to their other activities.

Children under the age of 12 can enter for free even without a pass, but Jordanians and other people whose nationality is Arabic are ineligible for the pass.

Yes, Jordan Pass holders still need to apply for a Jordan visa.

Depending on their country, visitors can either apply for a visa at an embassy in advance or get one when they arrive in Jordan.

In either scenario, the fees will be eliminated if customers purchase a Jordan Pass before finishing their application for a Jordan visa because they are already included in the pass’s price. This is only true if the visitor’s intent is to stay in Jordan for a minimum of 4 days and 3 nights.

It is advised that visitors apply for and get their Jordan Pass before receiving their visa so they can avoid paying the entry fee.

It is advised to purchase the Jordan Pass at least one week before departure.

The Jordan Pass should be obtained even earlier for those who are not qualified for the visa on arrival and must apply for a visa at a Jordanian embassy or consulate to give their visa application enough time to be processed. An embassy may need many weeks to complete this.

There is a minimal chance that the Jordan Pass will expire while you are awaiting a visa because it remains valid for a year after being obtained.

The Jordan Pass should be printed out because some devices might not be able to read the QR code on a mobile device. To receive a free visa to Jordan and to gain access to all of the country’s tourist attractions without paying any further fees, the QR code on the pass must be scanned.

A Jordan Pass application is typically processed in 1-2 working days. Sometimes things might go more quickly, and on occasion, it might take a little longer because there were a lot of candidates.
