Citizens of Antigua and Barbuda can obtain an online travel document and explore Kenya for 90 days hassle-free. If you are a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda and have Kenya on your travel list, you should obtain a Kenya eTA and explore the country.

Earlier, travelers from Antigua and Barbuda used to go through offline hassles and stand in line to apply for a Kenya visa and travel to Kenya. However, the Kenya government made online eTA services available to certain countries and luckily Antigua and Barbuda is one of them. This means travelers who hold a valid visa from the eligible nations can get their Kenya eTA online and save time.

Tourism, business and transit are three reasons for which an eTA for Kenya can be applied. Apart from this, Kenya also has a East Africa Tourist eTA that lets you travel to Uganda and Rwanda as well and an One-Year Multiple Entry Visa. No matter which Kenya eTA you apply for, you must always understand the requirements.

Three Types of Single Entry Kenya eTA

To visit Kenya, if Antigua and Barbuda citizens have reasons like tourism, business activities, and transit, they can go with the single-entry Kenya eTA mentioned below:

Kenya Tourist eTA: Kenya Tourist eTA is for citizens of Antigua and Barbuda who are planning a short trip to Kenya or may be meeting families and friends for a short duration living in Kenya.

Kenya Business eTA: Kenya business eTA as the name suggests, should be obtained if Antigua and Barbuda residents are coming on a short-term business trip to Kenya or if they are invited by registered companies in Kenya.

Kenya Transit eTA: Antigua and Barbuda citizens who are flying to some other destination but have Kenya in their route, where their flight halts and they want to leave the airport, will be required to have a Kenya transit eTA that gives them 72 hours to explore Kenya.

Stay Duration, Validity and Extension of Kenya eTA

Started in 2024, a Kenyan eTA will only be valid for ninety days, beginning from the moment it is issued. It is important for citizens from Antigua and Barbuda to be aware that they have ninety days to visit Kenya.

Antigua and Barbuda citizens who visit Kenya get 90 days on their Kenya eTA to explore the country as tourists. To minimize immigration complications in Kenya, we recommend that Antigua and Barbuda travelers arrange their trips in a way so that they are finished within days of validity.

If Antigua and Barbuda citizens desire to extend their Kenya eTA, they can go to the nearest Kenya immigration office and ask for an extension. Antigua and Barbuda citizens can get their eTA extended for 90 days the first time, with another 90-day extension available thereafter. Kenyan eTAs cannot be extended for more than 180 days.
