Depending on their nationality, eligible travellers who meet the Online Turkey Visa requirements are either granted a single entry or multiple entry visa.The maximum length of a Turkey visa online will vary from 30 days to 90 days.

Multiple entry Visa for Turkey

Visitors of the below mentioned countries are eligible for either a single entry or a multiple-entry Online Turkey Visa, which must be acquired before they embark on the journey to Turkey. They are permitted a maximum of 90 days, and occasionally 30 days, in Turkey.

Online Turkey Visa allows visitors to enter anytime in the next 180 days. The visitor to Turkey is allowed to remain continuously or stay for 90 day within the upcoming 180 days or six months. Also, to note, that this Visa is a multiple entry Visa for Turkey.

The following nations’ citizens can obtain a single-entry eVisa for Turkey. They are permitted a maximum of 30 days in Turkey. They also need to satisfy conditions listed below.

Note: Electronic visas (e-Visa) or e-Residence permits are not accepted.

Special conditions for the Online Turkey Visa

The following special Online Turkey Visa requirements apply to foreigners from some countries that are eligible for a single-entry visa:

  • Applicants must have a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States. The Turkey online visa and online residence permits will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must travel with an airline that has been approved by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Applicants must hold a confirmed hotel reservation.
  • Applicants must have evidence of adequate financial means, that is, at least $50 a day.

Nationalities allowed to enter Turkey without a Visa

Although a Turkey visa is a requirement for most travellers entering Turkey, not everyone requires a visa for entry into Turkey. Visitors from some nationalities are eligible to enter Turkey visa-free for a limited period.

Depending on nationality, Turkey visa-free visits for the above-mentioned nationalities range from 30 days to 90 days within 180-day period.

Please note that only tourism activities will be permitted in Turkey without a visa. For all other purposes of a visit to Turkey, a relevant entry permit must be obtained.

Nationalities that do not meet the Turkey Visa requirements

Passport holders from the following nationalities are not eligible to apply for Online Turkey Visa. Henceforth, they must apply for a traditional visa for being eligible for entry into Turkey:

Note: Travellers from the above-mentioned countries are required to visit a Turkish embassy or consulate in their country to apply for a Turkey Visa.

What documents are required for the Online Turkey Visa?

The eligible travellers must fill out and complete the Turkey online visa application form, for entry into Turkey. The applicants, however, need the following documents to meet the Turkey online visa requirements, and successfully complete the Online Turkey Visa Application:

  • The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Turkey (passport must be valid for 3 months for Pakistani travellers)
  • The applicants must have a valid and working email address to receive notifications and the approved Turkey visa online
  • The applicants must have a valid debit or credit card to pay the Turkey visa online fee.

Passport specifications for Online Turkey Visa

In order to be eligible for a visa to Turkey, foreign nationals’ passports must:

  • It must be an Ordinary Passport (and not Diplomatic, Service or Official Passport)
  • Valid for a minimum of six (6) months after the arrival date.
  • Granted by a country that is able to grant Turkey eVisas
  • The same passport must be used for both the journey to Turkey and the visa application. The information on the passport and visa must match exactly.

Note: Eligible applicants applying for the Turkey visa online will not have the requirement to visit a Turkish embassy or consulate in person to apply for a visa. Papers required to travel to Turkey

Visitors from abroad must have their travel documentation available for inspection by the border immigration officials. Paperwork requirements include:

  • Applicants must have a valid passport
  • Applicants must have a valid and approved Turkish visa
  • Applicants must have some other Covid-19 health documents

Note: Travellers will generally receive their Turkey visa online via email. It is recommended that applicants either store a copy of their approved Turkey visa in a device or print out the application and carry the approved Turkey visa hardcopy with them everywhere they go.
